Hire Dedicated UI/UX Designers

Hire UI/UX Designers Who Turn Research Into Interfaces That Convert

Most teams do not need more screens. They need someone to find out what people actually do before anything gets drawn. Stallyons is a Delaware-registered US company whose senior designers run the research, the prototypes and the design system on hours you set.

What Hiring UI/UX Designers Actually Means

UI and UX are not the same hire, even when one person does both. UX is the research, the flows and the decisions about what the product should do. UI is the interface that carries them: layout, type, colour, states, motion. A product designer covers both and owns the outcome. Hiring goes wrong when a brief asks for screens and the real problem is that nobody has watched a user try the current ones.

Stallyons is registered in Delaware as a US company, and our senior designers work inside a time-zone window you set, with four-plus hours of daily overlap. You sign a US contract, run diligence on a US entity and pay one US invoice. The designers on your account average four-plus years of product work across research, interface design, design systems and accessibility, backed by twelve-plus years of delivery across six continents, for founders, CTOs and product leaders worldwide.

What UI/UX Designers Cover

Research before pixels: interviews, session recordings and a look at what your analytics already say, so the first wireframe answers a real problem instead of restating the one your loudest stakeholder described.

Wireframes and clickable prototypes: structure, flows and edge cases agreed in grey boxes, then tested with real users, before anyone spends a week on type and colour for a screen that may not survive.

Design systems that engineers actually use: tokens, components and states documented once and named the same way in Figma and in code, so the tenth screen takes an afternoon, not another round.

Usability testing on a schedule: five users per round, tasks rather than opinions, findings written up with severity, and a short list of changes your team can act on the same week.

Accessibility designed in, not audited later: contrast, focus order, keyboard paths, labels and motion settings decided at wireframe stage, where fixing them costs nothing.

Handoff your engineers do not have to interpret: specs, tokens, states and empty cases in the file, plus a design QA pass on the built screens before anyone calls it done.

Why Product Teams Choose Our Dedicated UI/UX Designers

How To Hire UI/UX Designers The Right Way

Every engagement starts with a free 45-minute product session. No slide deck, no sales script. You bring the product, the users and the constraints; you leave with a recommended team shape, a clear scope and a timeline.

We are selective about new engagements and cap how many we run at once, because the vetting is the product. If we cannot staff your design work with people we would vouch for, we will tell you so.

What UI/UX Designers Deliver

What You Can Ship With UI/UX Designers

Design work pays off when it is continuous rather than a one-off project that ends at handoff. These are the engagements we take on most often, each with an agreed scope, an overlap window and the same review standard.

Common Challenges

Why Do UI/UX Projects Go Wrong?

Six failure patterns behind almost every redesign that did not move a number. None of them are about taste.

Skipped Research

01

Work starts at the visual layer because it is the visible one. Six weeks later the screens look sharp and nobody can say which user problem they solve, so every review becomes a debate about taste.

Pretty, Not Usable

02

A design that photographs well and tests badly. Users hesitate at the same step every time, and the fix keeps getting logged as a content problem.

No Real Design System

03

Every screen invents its own spacing, buttons and error states. Engineers guess, the product drifts, and consistency becomes a ticket nobody schedules.

Handoff Guesswork

04

Files arrive without states, tokens or empty cases, so engineers make the calls instead. What ships is a reasonable interpretation of a design nobody agreed to.

Accessibility Bolted On

05

Contrast, focus order and labels get raised in an audit after launch. Retrofitting them means reopening layouts, components and copy signed off months earlier.

Nobody Watched A User

06

Decisions get settled by seniority because there is no evidence in the room. The product ships, the funnel stays flat, the argument restarts next quarter.

Any of this sound familiar? Let's fix the cause.

How You Can Hire Us

Six Ways To Hire Our UI/UX Designers

Six ways to add design capacity from one accountable vendor. Run one, or run several in parallel under a single contract.

Dedicated UI/UX Designers

01

Named designers who join your team, your board and your rituals, working to your review rules, with a lead who reports into you rather than around you.

Discovery & Research

02

Interviews, competitor teardowns, analytics review and usability tests on what exists now, ending in a written problem list your team can prioritise instead of debate.

Design Systems & Tokens

03

Tokens, components and patterns documented once and named the same in Figma and code, so new screens get assembled rather than redrawn.

Usability Testing Rounds

04

Standing test capacity on your release cycle: recruitment, moderated sessions, severity-rated findings and a short change list before the next sprint.

Conversion Redesigns

05

Onboarding, forms, checkout and pricing pages reworked against the drop-off you can already see in analytics, then retested rather than declared finished.

Accessibility & Design QA

06

WCAG 2.2 AA reviews of designs and built screens, with contrast, keyboard paths, focus order and labels fixed in the file first and checked again after build.

Not sure which design engagement fits? Let's scope it together.

Why Choose Us

What Makes Hiring UI/UX Designers Here Different

The details that decide whether a design still holds up on the fiftieth screen, not the first three.

A US Legal Entity

01

Stallyons is registered in Delaware. Your contract, your invoice and your legal recourse sit with a US company, not an unknown one.

Research Comes First

02

We do not start in Figma. Interviews, analytics and a test of what exists now come first, so the first wireframe answers something real.

Overlap You Set

03

You choose the hours we share with your working day, and stand-ups, reviews and escalations all happen inside that window.

Systems, Not Mockups

04

You get tokens, components and documented states, not a folder of one-off screens, so your engineers build the next feature without asking us.

Tested Designs

05

Designs are tested with users before build, and the findings are written down where your team can read them.

One Contract

06

One contract covers the engagement, so procurement, legal and finance each deal with a single named counterparty.

"We came to Stallyons after burning two years and four vendors on a multi-platform launch that kept slipping. They scoped it end-to-end — web app, iOS, Android, an AI summarization layer, and a Shopify integration — and shipped it in 22 weeks. One team, one budget, one quality bar. We've handed them three more engagements since."

"Stallyons rebuilt our customer-facing portal, integrated three legacy systems, shipped an AI document analysis pipeline, and brought our compliance posture to SOC 2 — all under one engagement. The senior engineers on the team have shipped at companies five times our size. It's the best vendor decision we've made in a decade."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Hiring Designers

Two jobs share the title. The UX half is research, information architecture, flows and testing: deciding what the product should do and proving it works. The UI half is the interface that delivers it, including layout, type, colour, states and motion. A product designer covers both and takes responsibility for the outcome, which is usually what a team means when it asks to hire a designer.
UX designer usually describes someone focused on research, flows and testing, working upstream of the visual layer. Product designer is the broader role: the same research and flows, plus the interface itself, the design system behind it and a share of the responsibility for whether the thing shipped moved a number. On a small team you want the broader one. Once there are several squads, splitting research out starts to pay for itself.
Rates move with seniority, location and whether you need research and systems work or interface production alone. Any single number quoted before scoping is a guess. What decides your cost is the seniority mix, how clearly the problem is defined, and how much existing product the designer has to learn. We price after scoping and itemize it.
Ask who you are contracting with and under which country’s law. Ask to meet the engineers who will actually do the work, not the ones in the pitch deck. Check when IP assignment gets signed, how access is granted and revoked, what the review standard is, and what happens when someone leaves. A vendor who answers those without hedging is usually the safer buy.
You do, from the first file. NDA and IP assignment are signed before anyone gets access, with no licence-back and no shared ownership. Figma files, prototypes, component libraries, research recordings and notes live in your own workspace throughout, so there is nothing to hand back at the end.
Yes, including recruitment, moderation and write-up. A round is usually five participants working through real tasks rather than giving opinions, recorded so your team can watch instead of taking our word for it. Findings come back rated by severity with a short list of changes, and those changes get retested in the following round.
Most of our design work starts that way. The first pass audits what exists: token coverage, component duplication, accessibility gaps and the screens that have drifted away from the library they came from. You get a written list of what is worth keeping and what is costing your engineers time, then we fix it in slices behind your review.
The common ones are unclear scope, juniors replacing the seniors you met, no shared working hours, unsigned IP and knowledge disappearing when someone leaves. We address them the same way each time: written scope, named engineers you approve, an agreed overlap window, IP signed before access, and documented handover before anyone rolls off.
