Cloud Application Development
Cloud App Development Services For Systems That Must Stay Up
Cloud bills rarely surprise anyone on launch day. They surprise you in month seven, when an idle cluster, an oversized database and a log pipeline nobody owns now add up to one of the larger lines in engineering. Nobody decided that. We architect for the invoice as well as for the load.

What Our Cloud App Development Services Cover
Cloud app development means designing, building and running an application on cloud infrastructure rather than on a server somebody has to remember to patch. Cloud native application development goes further: the app is split into services that deploy and scale on their own, state lives in managed data stores, and the whole environment is defined in code so it can be rebuilt from scratch on a bad afternoon.
Stallyons is registered in Delaware as a US company, and our engineers work a time-zone window agreed before the project starts, with four-plus hours of daily overlap. You sign a US contract, run diligence on a US entity and pay one US invoice. Behind the work sits twelve-plus years of delivery across six continents and around thirty-five engineers, averaging four-plus years of production experience. Teams usually come to us after a scaling wall, a migration that stalled, or an invoice nobody could explain.
What Cloud Delivery Covers
Architecture chosen for the workload: serverless where traffic is spiky, containers where it is steady, managed data services almost always, and a written reason for each choice that survives the person who made it.
Reliability you can point at: multi-availability-zone deployment, health checks, automated failover and zero-downtime releases, backed by a 99.99% uptime SLA rather than by an assurance.
Security and compliance engineering: least-privilege IAM, encryption in transit and at rest, private networking and HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR and PCI-DSS-aligned controls documented as they are built.
Cost as a design input: right-sized instances, autoscaling that scales down as well as up, storage lifecycle rules, and a tagged bill you can read by team and environment.
Infrastructure defined in code: Terraform modules, reproducible environments and reviewed changes, so nothing important exists only because somebody once clicked it in a console.
One accountable vendor: one contract, one invoice and one team answering for architecture, build, release and cost. 81% of clients come back for their next engagement.
What To Ask A Cloud App Development Company Before Signing
- Ask what happens when an entire availability zone goes down. If the answer involves somebody restoring a snapshot by hand, you do not have high availability yet.
- Ask to see the bill broken down by service and environment. A cloud account nobody can read by tag is a cloud account nobody is ever going to reduce.
- Ask whether the environment can be rebuilt from code alone. If staging has drifted from production, your rehearsals are not rehearsing anything.
- Ask how secrets are stored and rotated. Credentials pasted into environment variables during setup and then forgotten are the most common way into an otherwise sound system.
- Check the exit before you need it. The cloud accounts, the DNS, the container registry and the Terraform state should all sit in your own name from day one.
- Ask what is monitored and who gets paged. Dashboards nobody watches are decoration; an alert with an owner and a runbook behind it is an operations plan.
How A Cloud App Project Starts Here
Every project starts with a free 45-minute architecture session. No slide deck, no sales script. You bring the workload, the traffic pattern and the current bill; you leave with an architecture direction and a timeline.
We are selective about new engagements and cap how many run at once, because the scoping is the product. If a managed platform would serve you better than a custom cloud build, we will say so.

Common Challenges
Why Do Cloud App Builds Get Expensive?
Six patterns behind almost every cloud platform that has to be re-architected. All six of them start as a shortcut.

The Bill Creeps
01
Nothing was oversized on purpose. An instance was doubled for a launch, a test cluster was never torn down, and log retention was left at the default, and now the invoice grows on its own.

One Server, One Risk
02
Traffic doubles on the best day of the year and a single instance falls over. There is no second zone, no health check and no way to add capacity quickly.

Consoles, Not Code
03
Production was assembled by hand over three years. Staging no longer resembles it, so every rehearsal passes and every real release surprises somebody.

Deploys Are Scary
04
Releases happen at midnight because the only rollback plan is a database restore. Shipping slows to a monthly event, and small changes start carrying outsized risk.

Permissions Left Wide Open
05
One role was granted administrator access during setup and never narrowed. Buckets are public, keys sit in environment variables, and nothing records who did what.

Silent When It Breaks
06
There is no tracing, no alert routing and no runbook. You hear about the outage from a customer, then guess which service, region or query caused it.
Recognise a few of these? Let us fix them properly.
Our Cloud Services
6 Cloud App Development Services We Run
Six ways to buy cloud delivery from one accountable vendor. Run one, or run several in parallel under a single contract.

Cloud Architecture Design
01
An architecture chosen for your workload and written down: services, data stores, networking, failure modes and the cost each choice implies, before anybody provisions anything.

Cloud App Build-Out
02
Production applications built for the cloud: serverless where it fits, containers where it counts, managed data services underneath, and autoscaling that moves in both directions.

Containers & Kubernetes
03
Images, registries and orchestration on EKS, AKS or GKE, with Helm charts, sensible resource limits and horizontal scaling that reacts before users do.

Cloud Migration Delivery
04
Workloads moved in waves with a rollback at every step: dependency mapping, data migration rehearsals, an agreed cutover window and the old system kept warm.

Reliability Engineering
05
Service levels, multi-zone deployment, alert routing, runbooks and tracing wired through the API layer so failures surface early.

Cloud Cost & FinOps Work
06
Right-sizing, commitment planning, storage lifecycle rules and a tagging scheme that makes the bill readable by team, service and environment every single month.
Not sure which piece you need first? Let us scope it together.
Why Choose Us
What Makes Our Cloud App Development Services Different
The details that decide whether a cloud platform still behaves at ten times the traffic.

A US Legal Entity
01
Stallyons is registered in Delaware. Your contract, your invoice and your legal recourse sit with a US company, not an unknown one.

Architecture First
02
We write the architecture down, with failure modes and cost implications, before anything is provisioned. Diagrams outlive whoever drew them.

Overlap You Set
03
You choose the hours we share with your working day, and stand-ups, reviews and escalations all happen inside that window.

Uptime You Can Hold
04
Multi-zone deployment, automated failover and a 99.99% uptime SLA, with HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR and PCI-DSS-aligned controls behind it.

Reviewed Code
05
Every merge is reviewed against an agreed definition of done, on your board, where you can read it yourself.

One Contract
06
One contract covers the engagement, so procurement, legal and finance each deal with a single named counterparty.

"Stallyons took our Figma design and built it into a live web application, a cognitive game with level-based match play, messaging, a tutorial, and a directory that ranks users nationally. What impressed me most was their grasp of the code behind that logic, and the quality of the experience. Delivered on time with steady updates."

"We brought Stallyons in to absorb an overflow of work, and they delivered ten iOS and Android apps, from reporting to geo-location for logistics, plus several backend systems, owning design, development, and app-store submission. Everything stood out: code quality, speed, and reliability. Perfect code, on time, adopted company-wide."
